In trying to find my place within the MPS Council for the last one and a half years, I realize that I am NOT THAT POLITICAL. I would prefer to build on my strengths. I have a Masters in Public Health with a finance emphasis and served as treasurer of a non-profit homecare agency years ago. I am self-employed and enjoy the accounting for my private practice. (My financial advisor tells me I am in the top 1% of her clients for organization and one of the first scheduled annually. Are you scheduled yet?) I am now ready to embark on this role of Secretary-Treasurer for MPS. I understand that the secretary part is superfluous. I am committed to attending the monthly Executive Committee meetings and intend to serve the membership, staff and Council in a conscientious, ethical manner. What can I say? My favorite class was Health Economics!
