Improving the practice environment including the prevention of any further deterioration has been a priority for MPS. So far this year we have responded to an FDA proposal to reclassify ECT devices and make ECT less available, the Minnesota wide PHQ-9 state initiative for measuring depression treatment, and the state wide efforts to cut funding for Minnesotans with severe mental illnesses. We are broadening our efforts in the area of prior authorization and other business practices that affect the practice environment.
